The SK and SK 'Europa' multi-stage centrifugal pump series has been designed on a modular basis to provide a wide range of duties.  They can be mounted and aligned for direct connection to electric motors and diesel engines.

Ideally suited for mechanized irrigation systems, fire fighting, water supply and for many other civil and engineering applications requiring pumping duties of between 10-300 m3/hr with heads up to 24 bar.  

Construction

• Horizontal multi-stage centrifugal pumps with axial suction intake (50-150mm dia.) and a vertical discharge (40-125mm dia.) that can be rotated laterally through 90° on both sides.
• Scroll pump body, external shells, helical centrifugal close impellers - dynamically balanced, bladed diffusers, intake cover and replaceable wear rings are constructed in high quality fine cast iron.
• Each pump is supported by a robust bare support which houses the drive shaft with its relative oil bath lubricated ball bearings able to withstand radial and axial thrust.
• Sealing on the shaft is guaranteed by adjustable and easy replaceable packing rings.  Mechanical seal is available on request.

The above range of bareshaft pumps has now been expanded to include the double supported SKD series, which consists of a modular pump assembly in different sizes.

• Suitable for powers up to 330 kW (410 Hp)
• Maximum capacity of 216 m³/hr (3,600 l/min)
• Maximum head of 570 meters (57 bar)

Flanged Pumps for Internal Combustion Engines

• Low, medium and high head duties
• Powers up to 250 Hp (185 kW)
• Single-stage pumps with shaft coupled directly to the engine flywheel
• Impellers are hydraulically balanced to avoid damaging loads on the flywheel
• Multi-stage pumps with shaft coupled to the engine by flexible coupling and supports by two oil-lubricated rolling bearings
• In the standard build all cast parts, including impellers and diffusers are made of high quality cast iron
• Easy installation ensuring perfect coupling alignment
• Performances mirror the SK range
