A
wide range of electric pumps that has been specially designed to
give lasting and higher operational efficiencies and lower
running costs. This series of 0.37 kW to 110 kW pumps, in
both horizontal (MEK) and vertical (MEKV) builds with a choice
of either in-line or offset suction and delivery ports, will
satisfy pumping duties of between 1-210 m3/hr with heads up 
to 30 bar.
Construction
These pumps have multiple
impellers arranged in series within an outer shell and bladed
diffuser. A lower bush in the suction chamber supports the
pump shaft which is connected to the electric motor via a rigid
coupling for silent, vibration free running.
Standard build is cast iron,
however, models can be supplied in new BLACK version, in which
the impellers and all parts in contact with pumped liquid are
CATAPHORASIS treated
A mechanical seal is standard
on the smaller models, conventional gland packing on the larger
units can be replaced with an optional mechanical seal on
request.
All the materials used in the
pumps construction have been carefully sourced and selected to
extend the normal working life and every individual component is
designed to simplify maintenance procedures for untrained
personnel.
Build
Options
Options include supply of Brass or Bronze impellers in place of
standard cast iron.
