Aerators

  • This photo shows a Standard Aerator as opposed to a Display Aerator
  • A Standard Aerator creates a high volume, white boil, of highly aerated water.
  • The water torrent is created using a Display Aerator pump but with just a simple head projector instead of a nozzle.  This allows it to achieve the maximum possible flow rate for each horsepower (0.5 to 7.5 Hp)
  • The very high flow rates maximise aeration and circulation while producing a minimal surface pattern
  • The extremely large bottom-to-top circulation and the highest oxygen transfer rates make this the preferred selection if pond health is primary and no display pattern is desired
  • In addition, because of the very high flow rate, low spray height, and deep suction, it makes an excellent de-icer that will keep a large area of water open in freezing weather - because the flow constantly covers the float, no ice can accumulate on the float so no water maintenance problems will be created.
  • Any standard spray nozzles can be attached to convert this to a Display Aerator
  • Conversely, any Display Aerator can be converted to a standard Aerator simply by removing the nozzle and adding the head protector.

Display Aerators

  • A Display Aerator pattern with five tiers (see photo left)
  • A vertical stream is surrounded by 4 tiers of 6 heavy, gracefully arching, coherent streams each with gradually reducing height and increased diameter
  • This creates a beautiful pyramid pattern
  • This pattern is very dramatic when lit

  • A Display Aerator which produces 16 heavy, high coherent, arching streams (see photo left)
  • It is a perfect pattern for using several different coloured lights to create a dramatic addition to the night skyline (see photo right)
