Super Primer

• Primer powered by a 12 volt supply (10.8 amp)
• Primes a vertical 4" x 20 foot suction pipe in 2 minutes
• Timer switch enables you to check for suction leaks while priming
• Flow switch to switch unit off when the pump is primed
• Automatic drain valve.
• Reduces pump wear and gland packing failure that can occur with engine exhaust/manifold powered priming systems
• Flow:  0" vacuum = 58 litres/min. - 20" vacuum = 8.3 litres/min.
• Maximum vacuum = 22" of mercury

The valve is opened on the irrigation pump and the timer switch is turned on (e.g. for 5 minutes).
The exhaust flap should be pressed firmly until vacuum holds it in place.  When primed, water enters the Super Primer tank.  Close the valve on the irrigation pump and switch off timer.  If the pump primes when unattended, the internal float switch will automatically shut off the Super Primer.  Ensure the valve on the irrigation pump is closed before starting the engine.

• Uses the engine exhaust to operate a venturi mechanism to automatically prime the irrigation pumps suction pipe
• Once primed it is disengaged, ready for use next time
• Standard or lever operated
